The story describes the conditions under refugees live here in Greece and their route inside Greece. The normal route for them is to cross the Aegean Sea from Turkey to some Greek island (mostly Lesvos), then taken to some refugee camp for registration and continue their journey to the Northern Greek border (mostly Idomeni village at the Greek-Fyrom border).
Before 20th March, they waited to get registered and continue their journey. After 20th March, EU made a deal with Turkey, which dictates that every refugee entering Greece through Turkey, should be sent back and for every person Turkey accepts back, Europe will accept one Syrian refugee already in Greece.
So, at this time, some are stranded at refugee camps in some island and many of them at Idomeni refugee camp, at the Greek-Fyrom border which are closed by Fyrom authorities.
Although stranded, they try to have some kind of normality and develop an everyday routine under very hard conditions. [schließen]
